I thought I hade everything for the water part of my brewing automation but sadly the hole isn't 1/2" not even 3/8" but something weird in between. That means I can't build it this weekend again.

@jeena Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, duct tape!
There are no metric measurements for things like this as far as I am aware.
Silvertejp to the rescue
I found it on the manufacturers website http://www.bielmeier-hausgeraete.com/bielmeier-auslaufhahn-3-8-kunststoff-1 it has a diameter of 18,5 mm which according to Wikipedia means a M16 thread (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrisches_ISO-Gewinde)
There are afaik? http://www.hoseandfittings.com/product-groups/metric-fittings/
The problem is that the hole is too small already, making it smaller won’t solve this one ;)
Metric measurement?

The problem now is, where can I buy a M16 to 1/2” thingy in Varberg tomorrow?
Good luck with that I guess 😂. I'd say your best bet is to find a good plumber/hardware store
3D print it :)
Krympslang och eld!
Still the hole is too small, and it should not be toxic and work with hot water/beer too.
3D printer and PLA should do it.
By it at Jovab
They don’t open on saturdays sadly, but I went to Jem o fix and bought some stuff for a workaround and it actually works! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJwskOizOOk
