Everything religious is an exception

at least in Sweden

Posted by Jeena

Today a friend of mine linked to a rainbow-press article from 2009 which is called

Jesus is needed in the Swedish school (Swedish)

In this article a young christian woman - Clara Lindström, 22 - talks about why it is not fair that christians have to pay for secular schools, that christian children and teachers are mobbed for their believes and then she says something which she apparently finds very sad, I on the other hand think this is one of the best things and why I like Sweden so much:

Not being religious is the norm and everything religious is an exception.

And hooray, wouldn't you just love to live in a place like this, without people who stone people to death (Indonesia) or cut the throats of their children with a razor because they think it's judgement day.

There's also indie comments (webmentions) support.
