This is one of the very few things which provoke me to switch from Firefox to Chrome. It looks like some virus or something which you get on Windows all the time. But I'm on Linux and don't expect something like this. According to the Internet this is legit Mozilla spam.

oof that's bad. Especially since it appears inside the content pane, since it could very well be a malicious site putting that banner there. If it appeared outside the content pane then at least you could be sure it was from the browser itself.
Chrome? Wow. Strange, I've never seen that in FF on Windows or Mac. I use the beta version of FF.
Yes, that is why I've always used Firefox, but stuff like this is soo bad.
Chrome is evil on so many levels. Damn Googles..
