I've been listening to the This American Life podcast for more than 10 years and I really appreciate their high quality production, so much so that I went to check how I can pay for it because it promised add free listening.

But The price is $10 per month, not per year, it's per month. I can't spent so much on entertainment, even if it's very high quality.

If a podcast would offer a $1 per month subscription then I would definatelly be on board. And I think a lot of other people would be too. But yeah I'm not sure if 12 times the people would be because it's still cumbersome to handle recurring payments to abroad, even in 2025.
